5 of the Most Common Things People Do With Their Adsense Revenue

If you think the only thing people ever do with their Adsense earnings is spend it on themselves you couldn't be further from the truth. There are generous people out there and there are wise investors that make great use of it in many different ways. Today I thought we could take a look at just 5 of the main things people do with their Adsense earnings, no matter how big or small it is...

1 - Spend it on Themselves

This one is pretty obvious and it is also what most people will indeed do with their Adsense earnings.  At the end of the day, most content creators work incredibly hard and will never truly earn what they should per hour. So splurging out at the end of the month is often something they enjoy doing, or for those lucky enough to be doing YouTube or blogging as a job it means paying the bills and surviving off their monthly earnings.

2 - Give it to Charity

While I don't have exact numbers on the percentage of people who do this you only have to look around YouTube and Twitter to see how many people are doing this. I will stick my neck out and say as high as 5% of all YouTubers and bloggers will do this. While it is mostly the smaller Adsense earners that do it there are some bigger YouTube channels that do it as well. Even PewDiePie and The Paul Brothers have done just that.

3 - Give it Away

To be honest Mr Beast has made quite a name for himself by doing just that, but I can assure you he is not the only YouTube creator who does this. Some people hold a monthly competition, some people give it away to random subscribers and blog commenters and some people just give it to random strangers in order to make amazing content which in turn then earns them more revenue.

4 - Invest in Themselves

This is for all the new bloggers and YouTube creators who need better equipment, bigger video production value and even hiring people to do some work for them. In the early days of content creation, your Adsense revenue won't be up to much so you need to make sure you invest as much as you can in making sure the content you are putting out there is the best it can be. Buying a new microphone or 4K camera isn't splashing out like number 1 on this list. It's investing in yourself and your own future as a content creator.

5 - Invest in Something Else

If you think blogging and YouTube will be around forever you are sadly mistaken. But wise people will try and invest in as many different things as they can. Maybe some Bitcoin, maybe some  Kickstarters or Indiegogo start-ups, or maybe even invest in property. There are lots of things you can do with small amounts of Adsense revenue. Heck, even penny stocks have turned people into overnight millionaires, so do try to be as diverse as possible when it comes to your own investments. Don't see that monthly Adsense cheque as payment, see it as seed money for a future money tree.
