|Why Doesn't Adsense Allow You to Get Paid By Paypal?|
While there is no easy way to answer this question I will try to keep the answer as short as possible. But it is a question a lot of people have asked me and one that I have been putting off answering due to the complexity of it. But if you have ever wanted to know why this post will answer it for you...
Why Can't I get my Adsense Paid into Paypal?
The first main reason is time. At the time Adsense started (June 18, 2003) they needed a system that allowed people from all over the world to get paid. While Paypal did have its initial public offering in 2002 it wasn't a good enough system to be used by Adsense. Even these days Paypal is not accepted in many countries. Adsense needed methods that allowed people worldwide to get their earnings and the main banking system was (and still is) the only true method. Also, there are the costs involved with using the Paypal both for Google and the Publisher! Would you really want less Adsense? I thought not! Also, Google sees Paypal as a competitor to some of their own services and while that isn't the reason they didn't use it when they started it is the reason they don't use it moving forward.
The current Adsense payment methods are pretty much universal and just about anyone should be able to receive their earnings. But that doesn't mean Adsense will never use other payment methods. They are probably looking into new worldwide payment methods all the time and testing them for security and ease of integration, so there is always hope that a new payment system will come along and blow PayPal out of the water.
