Why is Adsense Dropping Ads on Content on Endangered Animals?

You might have noticed there is a change to the banned content list and one of those is content based on endangered animals. So it Adsense saying you can't run Ads on content based on trying to save some of the worlds most endangered animals? In this post, I will go over EXACTLY what Adsense doesn't allow and what it will. But don't worry, it is not bad news at all...

Is Adsense Dropping Ads on Content on Endangered Animals?

The answer to that question is yes and no. What they are dropping is content based on the hunting, selling or even using of any animals considered endangered. Let's face it, it's about bloody time! There have been calls on all the social media platforms for years to stop ads showing on certain hunting and big game trophy sites, but now it is happening.

The good news is any content based on saving or protecting these endangered animals will be safe...kind of. You see, if you have content that shows any animals being killed, injured or some other shocking content designed to show the problems these animals face, despite your good intentions you can kiss goodbye to those ads. But, if you are just talking about the conservation of these animals or the animal's life, behaviour or facts then those ads will still appear.

As always, you need to see this from the marketing firms point of view. Would you want to advertise your products or services next to that sort of content? Probably not and Adsense has to do all it can to keep those marketing firms happy because, without them, there is no Adsense.
